About Purple Paradigm
About Me
My name is Amelia Harris and I am a web development consultant with over 25 years of experience specialising in usability and accessibility.
As a black, intersectional, disabled woman with dyslexia and ADHD, I know exactly what it feels like to be a round peg in a square hole. I keep trying to fit in, but honestly, I think I am better at creating my own mould!
My personal journey fuels my passion for helping others who are navigating similar struggles.
I am a qualified ADHD coach with ADHD Works and have previously worked for blue chip brands like Vodafone, Financial Times and Royal National Institute of Blind People.
The Story Behind Purple Paradigm
Besides purple being my favourite colour, it also represents disability.
Purple Paradigm represents a shift in how we approach accessibility, inclusion, and neurodiversity. It challenges traditional norms and creates a more inclusive framework for solving problems.
Through Purple Paradigm, I help SMEs make their digital experiences more inclusive for everyone, and I help small businesses build effective, accessible websites.
